The Live-In Program for the High School and Vocational High School Association of the Archdiocese of Jakarta (KAJ) took place from Sunday, January 18, 2026, to Thursday, January 22, 2026, at KPTT Salatiga. A total of 48 male and female students and 14 accompanying teachers participated in the program.
During this activity, participants were introduced to KPTT’s environment from Area 1 through Area 3, accompanied by KPTT staff, alongside UNDIP university interns and SMKN 3 Salatiga vocational student interns.
Throughout the live-in program, each day began with morning Mass led by Rm. Sugiarto, SJ. The program was supported by theory sessions in training rooms delivered by Mr. J. Willy Kutanata and field practice guided by professional staff, with snacks and meals provided by the kitchen and housekeeping team.
During the live-in immersion, participants gained hands-on experience in KPTT’s agricultural fields through making growing media and plant overplanting (repotting), operating field tractors, preparing and applying Hoagland solution, practicing botanical pesticides and Plant Growth Regulators (ZPT), custom-blended NPK synthetic fertilizers, Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC), Solid Organic Fertilizer (POD), urban farming, komsah (composting technique), alternative feed and herbal poultry supplements, as well as hydroponics.
Participants showed high enthusiasm during group presentations, engaging in mindful reflection and sharing stories about their daily activities.
