Saturday, February 15, 2026. Following , it was time for the children of KB-TK B Kanisius Cungkup Salatiga. A total of 19 children participated in a school recollection uniquely designed as a full-day field trip and overplanting (repotting) activity at KPTT Salatiga. From early morning, the children enthusiastically explored the agricultural area while learning directly from nature. The experiential learning concept enabled them not only to observe, but also to touch, plant, and understand the process of growing life.
Accompanied by Scholastic Lino, Scholastic Edgar, as well as Yenti, Michael, and Vena, participants were guided through Areas 1 and 2. They visited the nursery propagation station, observed fish ponds and edible bullfrogs, entered the mini greenhouse area, and visited the mushroom cultivation house. They also did not miss the livestock pens and pet areas. The guinea pigs were the animals that generated the most enthusiasm among the children. Each stop served as a simple yet meaningful learning space, introducing the worlds of agriculture and livestock farming in a fun, easily digestible way for early childhood learners.
As evening approached, the atmosphere turned quieter. The reflection series themed “A Family for Us” was held in the meeting room, one of the comfortable facilities available at KPTT Salatiga. The children reflected on togetherness, gratitude, and the meaning of family in their lives. Activities such as singing, coloring, and praying were followed with great enthusiasm, even though they were accompanied solely by the KPTT team and teachers from KB-TK B Kanisius Cungkup Salatiga.
