On Monday, June 15, 2026, a field trip was held for 60 Grade 7 students from SMP Mardi Rahayu Ungaran. The activity then continued on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, with another field trip group of 54 Grade 8 students from SMP Mardi Rahayu Ungaran.
The activities began with plant overplanting (repotting and transplanting), where participants planted and watered crops. Next, participants were taken on a tour to explore Area 1 of KPTT, starting from the growing media area, the greenhouse, and the horticulture fields. Participants showed great enthusiasm when visiting KPTT’s household-scale livestock facility, where they saw large frogs, dairy cows, poultry, and goats firsthand.
Participants listened attentively to the guide’s explanation regarding animal care, feeding, and eco-friendly livestock product processing.
This field trip served as a valuable outdoor learning experience. Beyond gaining new knowledge, students also learned teamwork and cultivated a sense of care for the environment and surrounding nature.
