SD Kanisius Gendongan Field Trip at KPTT Salatiga

Field Trip at KPTT Salatiga’s Area 1 with students from SD Kanisius Gendongan took place on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

More interestingly, besides touring the area to learn about the plants and animals at KPTT, the students overplanting (repotting) session this time featured Brazilian spinach. Participants learned about the history, cultivation, and benefits of Brazilian spinach. Not only that, participants also got to taste delicious Brazilian spinach treats through snacks provided by the KPTT kitchen.

The field trip was guided by the KPTT team, consisting of staff members, Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students from Sanata Dharma University (USD), and vocational interns from SMK Yos Soedarso Cilacap and SMKN 3 Salatiga. The event was attended by 93 students and 4 accompanying teachers.
