On Saturday, July 19, 2025, 105 students from SMA Wardaya West Jakarta visited KPTT Salatiga as part of their School Educational Tour. The activity series began with an initial briefing for all participants. Afterward, students were divided into small groups, each guided by knowledgeable KPTT staff members such as Willy, Agus H., Agus J., Adven, Dimas, Gilang, Jefri, Rafli, Brian, Vena, Arif, and Fatah. In addition to guiding, they explained concepts and answered all questions from the highly enthusiastic students.

Each group took turns exploring various educational stations prepared in Areas 1 and 2 of KPTT Salatiga: a mini greenhouse filled with plant seedlings, a mushroom cultivation house with sawdust baglogs ready for processing, as well as observing and interacting directly with various livestock such as cows, goats, pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, and others. Another station featured edible frog ponds. For several students, this station was a brand-new experience. All stations were prepared to deliver optimal agricultural education. The curriculum is thoughtfully developed by KPTT’s education team and tailored to the target participants.

The highlight of the excitement was the overplanting session, where students practiced the repotting process: transplanting tomato and chili seedlings into new growing media—mixing soil, fertilizer, and sand. This hands-on activity deepened understanding and empathy for farming while building a sense of pride in their work. At KPTT Salatiga, every interaction proves that learning crop and livestock farming can be a wonderful memory filled with togetherness.
