Saturday, November 15, 2025. Students from Sekolah Murid Merdeka visited KPTT Salatiga. A total of 59 participants, comprising a mix of Early Childhood (PAUD), Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High School students.
During the field trip agenda, students explored Areas 1–2; engaging in plant overplanting (repotting), visiting the nursery propagation site, mini greenhouse, mushroom house, fish ponds, bullfrog ponds, as well as livestock pens and pets, such as guinea pigs, sheep, goats, cows, and poultry.
During the field trip, participants showed great enthusiasm when given the opportunity to feed cows and harvest and pack vegetables.
The next agenda saw participants from Early Childhood (PAUD) through Grade 3 Elementary practice soil preparation, field planting, and plant fertilizing. Meanwhile, Grades 4 Elementary through Senior High School students practiced making Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) and Hoagland Solution.
This visit was guided by Jonathan Willy and the field trip team: Agus H, Dimas, Rafli, Vio, Cherla, Michael, Sena, and Higa.
At KPTT Salatiga, agricultural learning is always hands-on and upholds sustainable ecological farming principles while instilling character and nurturing curiosity. Through direct practical methods and guidance from a dedicated team, every visit to KPTT Salatiga becomes a memorable and deep educational experience.
