On Monday, September 2, 2024, KPTT Salatiga celebrated its 59th anniversary with a simple yet joyous series of events.
The program opened with a seminar themed “Safeguarding” focused on child protection, led by Fr. Sunu Hardiyanta, SJ as the keynote speaker. In the seminar, Fr. Sunu outlined various legal frameworks governing child protection as well as the legal responsibilities associated with it.
Following the seminar, the event continued with a thanksgiving Mass also celebrated by Fr. Sunu. A solemn atmosphere enveloped the participants as they gave thanks for all of KPTT’s work and service over the past 59 years.
The event concluded with a shared lunch for all staff and employees, enhancing the warm sense of community within KPTT. As a symbol of gratitude, a traditional tumpeng (ceremonial rice cone) cutting ceremony was held. The first slice was presented to Mrs. Siti, a member of KPTT Salatiga’s kitchen staff. Mrs. Siti plays a vital role in ensuring that the daily catering needs of staff, guests, and course participants at KPTT are consistently fulfilled. This gesture served as a token of appreciation for Mrs. Siti’s dedication and hard work, as well as an acknowledgment of all KPTT staff and employees who contribute significantly to the organization’s day-to-day operations.
Fifty-nine years is no short journey for KPTT Salatiga. Happy 59th Anniversary to KPTT Salatiga—may KPTT Salatiga consistently fulfill its vision: competent, prosperous, dignified, and faithful farmers.
