Urban Farming with BTI STEM, Sanata Dharma University

BTI STEM Sanata Dharma University visited KPTT Salatiga on Friday, November 14, 2025. A total of 62 participants took part under the theme “Urban Farming Training,” a topic aligned with KPTT’s commitment to introducing modern agriculture that is easily adaptable to urban environments.

Guided by the KPTT team—Agus, Rafli, Dimas, Sena, Vio, Fattah, Yenti, and Willy—participants took a field trip through Areas 1 and 2. They visited the nursery propagation station, mini greenhouse, vanilla cultivation area, mushroom house, fish ponds, and livestock and pet enclosures. Various spots across KPTT demonstrated how the center packages crop and livestock agricultural knowledge into an approachable and enjoyable experience.

Through this comprehensive experience, KPTT Salatiga once again proved itself as a comfortable space to understand sustainable agriculture while inspiring the younger generation to explore the world of agricultural education in an engaging yet meaningful way.
