Arriving by bus, students from SD Ignatius Slamet Riyadi, Semarang, arrived at KPTT Salatiga full of enthusiasm. As part of their Class Outing activity, KPTT Salatiga served as a destination for learning through play.
A total of 60 children immediately practiced overplanting—repotting seedlings into a new growing medium. They were also introduced to various planting media. This activity allowed them to learn how to care for plants to ensure healthy growth.
Afterward, the students were taken on a tour around Area 1 of KPTT Salatiga, visiting the greenhouse, plant nursery, and meeting livestock such as cattle, chickens, ducks, and goats. Beyond just observing, they were thrilled to feed the animals directly.
The excitement continued as outbound activities began. The students played a water relay race and tried dexterity games like driving nails into wood. Beyond building agility, these games fostered teamwork and camaraderie.
