A total of 98 young children from TK Miftahul Jannah visited KPTT Salatiga to participate in a field trip with great enthusiasm. A light and enjoyable educational concept welcomed these eager young learners who were keen to connect with nature. They were guided through Area 1 of KPTT. Here, they visited the greenhouse to observe plant nurseries, met livestock such as cattle and goats, and even got the chance to feed the animals. Although the young students from TK Miftahul Jannah were extremely enthusiastic listening to explanations from the KPTT Salatiga staff, they remained neatly lined up throughout the activity.
The excitement continued as they practiced the overplanting technique—repotting lettuce seedlings into a larger growing medium so they could grow better. Participants were also introduced to planting medium compositions such as fertilizer, sand, and soil. All these activities made learning engaging and memorable, instilling a love for nature from an early age. This field trip proved to be an unforgettable experience for the children of TK Miftahul Jannah.
