KPTT welcomed participants from Timor-Leste sent by Jesuit Social Service (JSS) Timor-Leste. This visit was part of a training program designed to enhance agricultural skills and knowledge.
From Monday, July 1, 2024, to Saturday, July 6, 2024, participants took part in KPTT Salatiga’s Seven (7) Day Course program. They acquired theoretical and practical knowledge on effective, sustainable farming techniques, covering topics such as sustainable farming, planting media and plant nutrition, seed production and nursery management, pest control and crop care, a one-day field session at Kebun Wates, and organic farming. May the knowledge gained during their course at KPTT be effectively applied in their home country, Timor-Leste. With this new knowledge, participants are expected to help boost agricultural yields and improve the livelihoods of local communities in Timor-Leste. We believe that sharing knowledge and experience is an essential step toward building a better, more sustainable future for all.
