Plant Media and Nutrition

Theory Session

Organic and non-organic farming.
Soil chemistry.
Types of growing media
Plant nutrients (Hoagland nutrition) and their application
Hydroponics.
Role of fungi and bacteria
Role of detritivores
Understanding liquid organic fertilizer (POC)
Understanding solid compost fertilizer
Amaranthaceae and Convolvulaceae commodities

Field Training

Growing media research
Preparing plant nutrients ( Hoagland nutrition ).
Making various types of organic fertilizer.
Plant nutrient application.

Week 3

CROP MAINTENANCE AND PEST & DISEASE CONTROL

Theory Session

Introduction to Plant Pests and Pathogens (OPT).
Utilization of Biological Control Agents.
Understanding types of pathogenic fungi.
Understanding Trichoderma sp. and Mycorrhiza sp.
Control of Fusarium sp. using Trichoderma sp. biological agents.
Control of Fusarium sp. using Rhizobacteria and Mycorrhiza sp.
Utilization of natural pesticides.

Field Training

OPT / Pest & pathogen identification
Making natural pesticides
Pest and pathogen control
Crop maintenance
Practical isolation and cultivation of Trichoderma sp.
Application of Trichoderma sp.
Field trip to KPTT Alumni (pest & pathogen control expert).

Week 4

Plantation Crop and Vegetable Maintenance

Theory Session

Plantation farming overview.
Understanding lemon commodities.
Understanding Santang mandarin commodities.
Understanding ginger, papaya, etc.
Korean strawberry cultivation
Plant hormones
Biodiversity

Field Training

Field practice in the plantation.
Plantation crop maintenance.
Vegetable crop maintenance.
Strawberry cultivation practice.
Practical drip irrigation system application.
Field trip to The Farmhill (Modern Farming)

Weeks 1 to 3

Personality and Spirituality

Theory Session

Becoming an outstanding individual.

Each participant will get time allocation for independent study and guided reflection during the course

Terms

Registration at least 7 days prior to the agreed date.
Arrival at the location is mandatory 60 minutes / 1 hour before the session starts.
Participants are expected to bring their own medication and personal items.
Compliance with health protocols is mandatory.

Facilities

Participants will receive fieldtrip access to KPTT Areas 1, 2, and 3.
The fee includes tools, hands-on materials, and accommodation appropriate to the duration.
Products made during practical sessions may be taken home.
Participants will receive a certificate.
